Explanation of calculation

 

Cost = Price x Quantity (for each method); minus discounts and plus options.

Start with how many pages you will send.  (Where do I get a letter and resume?)
Then enter the total number of company targets = number of pieces. (Where do I get the list?)

Number of pages

  • 3 pages is the standard base price.
  • Add or subtract 10% per page.
    • 1 page - minus 20%.
    • 2 pages - minus 10%.
    • 3 pages is the standard price.
    • 4 pages - add 10%.
    • 5 and more pages are not allowed now.

Number of distribution methods.

  • Use all 3 methods - email, fax, letter -
    for best results and save 10%.
  • Use any two methods for the standard price.
  • Add 10% when using just one method.

 

Quantity

  • 25 piece minimum.
  • For less than 100 pieces add 10%.

  • Minus 10% when sending over 1000 pieces.

  • When ordering a 3rd wave, take 20% off each.
  • Please specify timing in the calculator.
    • Resumes age rapidly in the job market. When employers are searching for an employment candidate, freshness is a critical factor. Thus we recommend sending your materials monthly throughout an active campaign.

  • Use my .csv lists at no extra charge.
  • Other .csv lists are 10% extra if standard.
  • Other electronic lists are at least 20% extra and may be more.
    • An inspection and conversion fee may apply when you bring an outside list in another standard data format.
    • Your paper lists can be converted to electronic data for distribution. Let's discuss.
 
   

We recommend full blasts with multiple methods on multiple occasions.  Why?

The Price for each Distribution Method assumes we have one standard electronic document and a clean list of addressees in a standard data format. Email merge, fax merge, and mail merge are included for the inside address. You will be the “apparent sender” of email and fax messages. Letters will have your return address.

The final bill is ajusted downward based on messages actually sent. We will charge your account before distribution begins, assuming that every piece will be sent and received. However, Quality Control always checks each address before printing a letter. Computers record the quanitities undelivered. Your final adjusted cost will be based on the actual quanity sent.
